What is the focus of this conference?
The purpose of the SGI-USA Young Men's Division Sports Festival is to unite the young men across SGI-USA who are protecting our palaces of kosen-rufu, our members and Sensei as Gajokai or Soka Group members. In addition to holding study, dialogue and guidance sessions, we will facilitate team sports to bring joy and pride, while developing golden memories with our comrades. Ultimately, this will be a gathering of the young men who will inherit full responsibility for their communities, districts and the future of American Kosen-Rufu.
At the Sports Festival, we will study The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin and Sensei's guidance, along with provide opportunities for discussion, as well as group and personal guidance sessions.
For several hours on Saturday and Sunday, we will play team-based sports that will take place on the track and field at SUA.
We look forward to seeing you July 13th–16th at the Young Men's Division Sports Festival!!!
